1. Before connecting the printer to your iPad device, make sure your receipt printer is plugged in and connected to the LAN.
Note: It is necessary to prepare the internal network cable (LAN), presses the two ends with a sufficient length corresponding to the distance between the Modem wifi transmitter to the printer location.
2. Open the printer cover and place the print media inside the printer by dragging the open button in the arrow direction and lifting the printer cover.
3. The printer is ready when the green light is on.
4. Check the printer current parameters by turning the printer off and then back on and hold the Feed button on the printer body for about 3 seconds.
5. Printer specifications are printed.
This IP spec indicates that the printer is connected to a device.
6. Restart the printer by turning off the printer, then turn it back on, and hold the power button on the back of the device for about 5 seconds until the printer prints the original information of the printer
7. The printer's initial specifications are printed
- IP address: 192.168.192.168
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Change wifi network IP address parameters on iPad
8. On iPad, go to Settings
9. Select the Wifi section and select the icon next to the wifi network your iPad is accessing to open that network parameter
10. On the wifi network parameter screen your iPad is accessing, click Configure IP. On the Configure IPv4 screen, select Manual and change IP parameters as follows:
- IP address: 192.168.192.xxx (Condition: xxx is any number from 1-255 and other xxx 168 - printer's IP address)
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
11. Save changes and exit Settings

12. Open any browser on your iPad and access the printer's IP link: http://192.168.192.168
13. On the left menu column, select TCP / IP in the Configuration section
14. Change the Get IP Address option from Manual to Auto.
15. Click Submit to save changes
16. The display Save changes successfully and requires restarting the printer by pressing RESET right on the screen or turning the printer off and on again.
17. Go back to WiFi Settings and change the IP Configuration to Automatic as the beginning
18. Click Save and your printer is now connected to iPad
19. Connect your printer to bePOS as instructed here.
Note:
- To set up multiple receipt printers for your store, you must set up each one as instructed above. From then, your iPad device can connect to multiple printers flexibly.
- To connect multiple iPad / iPhone devices to a single receipt printer, you only need to set up the printer connection 1 time as instructed above with any iPad / iPhone device. The above setup connects the printer to the same WiFi network range as the other iPad / iPhone devices you are using. From then, you can search for printers on any device that shares the same Wi-Fi network with your store's printer.
* Connect the printer to bePOS
1. Open the bePOS application and log in to your email.
2. On the bottom menu bar, select Manage
3. On the left menu bar, scroll down to the Name of the branch you are managing and select Printers
4. The Printer Settings screen appears on the right showing the printer connection status of bePOS. As the screen above, bePOS is not connected to any printer.
5. Click the icon to find the printer that you have connected to iPad.
6. The system starts searching and displays the number of printers found
7. Click the newly found printer to change its name (if needed).
8. Click Save to finish
Your printer is now connected to the bePOS system. Similar to Kitchen, Bar printers.
9. To specify a printer for Invoice, Kitchen, Bar, select the Settings section in Branch name (current branch).
9.1. With receipt printer
- On the Branch Name screen - Set the branch on the right, go to the Printer section and select Print Receipt
- Branch Name screen - The printer opens allowing you to select the receipt printer for the store
- Select Test print to check
- If your store has a cash drawer, refer to the instructions to connect the cash drawer to the printer here. Select Try to check.
- Click Save to finish
9.2. With Kitchen printer
- On the Branch Name screen - Set the branch on the right, go to the Print Bill for Kitchen / Bar (Kitchen printing) section and select Kitchen Printer
- The printer list screen opens allowing you to choose a kitchen printer for your store
- Press the button Return to the Branch Name screen on the right
- Click Save to finish
