How to Configure Items per Printer?

Large-scale restaurants often divide separate kitchen areas and separate beverage stalls or separate 1st floor kitchen and 2nd floor kitchen. bePOS supports the configuration of items for each printer at the counters simply as follows:

1. Open bePOS app and login by Store Owner or Store Manager account

2. On the bottom menu bar, select bePOS

3. On the menu column on the left side of the screen, go to Site Name section (Current Site) and select Site Setting

4. On the Site Name - Site Settings screen on the right, scroll down to go to Item Printing Config section

Printing methods include:

- All items print to all printers - this is convenient for small to medium stores with only 1 kitchen as you don't need to config items for the printer.

- Specific items print to specific printer - this method is suitable for large stores with many Kitchens / Bars to clearly separate what each area serves.

To config items for each printer, select Specific items print to specific printer

5. The system returns to the Site Name - Site Setting screen, press Config Items per Printer.

6. The system displays a list of connected printers for the Kitchens/Bars and the number of configured items to be sent to this printer

7. Click on the printer you want to config the item

All products with enabled Kitchen Printing option will be displayed here. You can enter keywords in the search bar to find products or categories.

Note: If you can't find the product you want, it may not have the Kitchen Priting option enabled. Go back to Products, select the product you want to find, and enable the option Print production docket on the Edit Product screen.

8. Click on the product you want to print on this printer

Note: Touch and hold any product in a category to select the entire category.

The filter icon allows you to view the selected products/categories.

9. Click Done to finish selecting the product for the printer
