In the restaurant and beverage service industry, canceling is a rather sensitive matter because the ingredients are used to make the food/beverage cannot be returned to the warehouse intact like the retail industry. Therefore, bePOS recommends decentralizing employees with this service. In particular, only the store owner can define the reason for the cancellation.
1. Start bePOS and log in by Store Owner
2. On menu bar, select bePOS
3. On the left menu column of Management screen, go to Location's Name (Current Location) and select Site Setting
4. On the Location's Name - Site Setting screen, scroll down to go to Void Reasons
5. Void Reasons screen opens showing a list of cancellation reasons that have been pre-listed by the Store Owner.
Void Reason is divided into 2 main parts: Sold/Allocated items will not return and Return sold/allocated items
6. To add a new reason to void, press the "+" button in the upper right corner of the screen
7. The Add Void Reason screen allows you to define:
- Void Reason Name
- Return sold/allocated items option
- Notes (if any)
8. Press Save and the void reason you just created will show up on the void reason list
