Barcode is a number that has been registered by the manufacturer, specific to the product. Barcode is a technology that identifies and collects data automatically based on the following principle: set the object to manage a sequence of numbers (or strings and numbers), and display them as a barcode that is readable to the scanner.
Note: To enter SKU/Barcode with a scanner, you can simply tap on the SKU/Barcode field and scan the SKU/Barcode of the product, SKU/Barcode will be automatically shown up.
+ Brand

- Availability
+ Available at all locations: This function allows you to configure the branch selling this product. When you turn off this function, the system will display the branch list allowing you to choose which branch to sell the product.
- Price
+ Same price for all locations: This function allows you to set specific price for the product at each location. When you turn off this feature, the system will display the branch list that allowing you to set different product prices for different locations.
- Inventory
+ Can sell on POS: There are items you want to sell in a short time and you do not want the revenue to be calculated along with the main items of the store. If you turn this setting on, the product will be displayed in the product list on the POS screen. If disabled, the product will not be displayed when selling.
+ Inventory Management: If you enable this setting, bePOS will apply the full inventory management for this item, if turned off then bePOS will only record sales transactions and revenue but not check/subtract/transfer items, etc.
+ Can sell when inventory is negative: When the inventory is run out of items (zero), you can still sell if you are sure of the arrival time. In case this setting is off, the system will report an error when the employee wants to sell when the stock count is zero.
Note:
- bePOS does not encourage you to allow sales when negative stock as such may affect stock data and cause inaccuracy/misalignment if the item found at the time is not as expected.
- This setting is only effective when the setting Inventory Management is enabled for the corresponding item.
